Motorola Droid 4 images leaked

first_imgMotorla’s Droid 3 may only have come out this summer, but now that the company has brought a sexy, new RAZR to market it decided the original Droid line needed a refresh, too. Take a look at the Droid 4, exposed in all its glory thanks to a series of leaked photos obtained by Droid Life. The Droid 4 is thought to be packing the same hardware as its kevlar-clad RAZR sibling, albeit with a slightly smaller 4-inch touchscreen display and trademark slide-out QWERTY keyboard (which is fully backlit this time around). It’s got LTE support built in, a non-removable battery, works with MotoACTV devices, has Android 2.3.5 on board, and a very similar overall design. There’s also likely a dual-core TI OMAP processor under the hood, and there’s a good chance it’s the 1.2GHz OMAP 4430 found in the RAZR.Also included is an HDMI port, which means you’ll be able to hook your Droid 4 up to a TV and use it as an Android gaming console once that Ice Cream Sandwich update arrives — and you’ve got to believe that Moto’s new Droid flagships are in line for the refresh. No official information about the Droid 4 has been revealed yet, but there’s a good chance the phone is just about ready to go. Droid Life notes the presence of several pre-installed apps (including Madden NFL 12 and Let’s Golf 2) as a good indication that the phone’s ROM is nearly ready for launch. Heck, it’s even got the overlay sticker on the screen that shows new users where the  buttons are.If you liked the look of the new RAZR but didn’t want to forego the convenience of a full QWERTY keyboard, you won’t have to wait long to get your mitts on the phone you’ve been hoping for.More at Droid Lifelast_img
